Andreas Fosshaug (b. 2001) is a Norwegian classical guitarist. He fell in love with his instrument at the young age of six and is currently undergoing his masters degree in Classical Guitar Performance at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague under Pavel Steidl.
Throughout his short career he has already received numerous accolades such as the 1st Prize in the Oslo Guitar Days Guitar Competition (2024), 1st prize in the Antwerpen Gitaarfestival youth competition (2019), 3rd prize in the Guitar Nordic Music Competition (2018), and has been a finalist in the Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Concours.
Through his expressive playing, Andreas aims not only to play music, but to tell a story. With the use of his creative technique and rich colours, he aims to show the audience new and hidden meanings behind every piece he plays.
I am available for concerts as a soloist, and chamber musician. I have a wide repertoire of music, and I am always happy to learn new pieces.
I am available to perform at a variety of events, such as weddings, parties, and corporate functions. I can provide a solo performance, or a larger ensemble. Please contact me to discuss your event and how I can help make it a success.
I am passionate about teaching music, and I have experience teaching students of all levels. I currently offer lessons at variying times in Groningen, the Hague, and Oslo.
